The first scene will include the instrumental beginning of the song Livin' In The City. To begin I will include various shots of the band members preparing to play the song. Using close ups, medium close ups and most likely an establishing shot to introduce the band as a whole. Continuity is essential so it looks as though the band are playing along to the song, with no mistakes or unnatural looking occurrences, this scene is to simply introduce the song, and show the band playing it.
As the lyrics begin the band fades and there is a cut to an individuals bedroom, coinciding with the lyrics 'bells are ringing on your alarm clock', which creates the beginning of a storyline for the song. As the lyrics mention 6 o'clock, the visuals with match, showing an alarm clock ringing as the individual turns it off. Furthermore the visuals will follow the audio as the male individual gets up and ready for work.
There will then be a cut to the train pulling into the station which again coincides with the lyrics, followed by a quick cut as the lyrics say 'Hit the streets', where the video will change to very fast clips of London, including buses and high angle of the busy streets, followed by point of view shots as the lyrics say 'ducking, weaving', to emphasise the business of the city. The majority of the music video will follow and create a storyline based on the lyrics the audience can hear.
The chorus of the song will cut back to the band as they play, for most of the chorus, the audience will see continuity shots of the singer, lip singing along to the chorus, followed by typography, showing the lyrics of the song.
There will then be an instrumental part matching beginning of the song, including quick cuts from the different instruments, followed by cutting back to the male individual doing research on a band, thinking and waiting, (which will be the clone sequence), and then signing a contract with a record label for the band singing the song.
